Anirudh Narla is a Researcher for ICCT’s electric vehicles, heavy-duty vehicles and vehicular emissions testing programs in India. He concentrates on assessing pathways for the electrification of trucks and evaluating real-world vehicle emissions, which involves utilizing remote sensing and Portable Emissions Measurement Systems (PEMS) technologies for analyzing exhaust emissions. The remote sensing work is conducted in support of The Real Urban Emissions (TRUE) Initiative. Anirudh also has expertise in India’s vehicle emission testing regulations like Real Driving Emissions (RDE) regulation and Pollution-under-control (PUC) testing regime. Prior to joining ICCT, he worked on a variety of assignments across South and South-East Asia in the electric mobility and renewable power domains. He holds a Master of Technology degree in Renewable Energy Engineering and Management from TERI School of Advanced Studies (Delhi, India) and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (Andhra Pradesh, India).
